SSi Gate is a VST plugin that acts like a compressor by eliminating all of hissing, pops, background noise contained in your track.
Similar to a compressor, the threshold determines when the gate is triggered: when the source goes below the threshold, the noise gate will clamp down on the audio.
The plugin features a VU meter that let's you have a visual feel of when it's active. It also provides you with additional Gain, Attack. Release and range adjustment knobs.
